At the back end of January 2018 I decided that I wanted a Roadster. Within 4 days I had put a deposit down on one and picked it up, and paid for it, on Saturday 3rd February.

It did originally have black stripes and mirror caps but I told the dealer, Knights of Stafford, that I would only part with my cash if they changed them to Chilli Red and dropped £300 off the asking price. He said “no way” I got up to walk away and the he said “yes, alright, we’ll do it”.

It is fully loaded and the only option that it does not have is the heated front screen.
It has Toffee Leather seats and Toffee Colour Line with Striped Alloy interior.

The mod list that I’d planned to take 3 years to complete was completed in just over a year.

    Saturday 10-02-2018: CG Lock installed.
Saturday 17-02-2018: Garmin 55 dash cam fitted.
Thursday 26-04-2018: Black Jack side scuttles installed.
Sunday 06-05-2018: OEM MINI Black headlight rings fitted.
Thurs 31-05-2018: Dobbelsteen rollover hoop screens fitted.
Sunday 24-06-2018: Reflective Black side graphics added.
Sunday 30-09-2018: OEM MINI Black Line rear lights fitted.
Monday 12-11-2018: OEM MINI GP2 rear diffuser installed.
Monday 03-12-2018: OEM MINI MINI LED DRL’s fitted.
Saturday 12-01-2019: OEM MINI Black upper and lower grille surrounds installed.
Monday 11-02-2019: OEM MINI MINI LED Additional Headlights and larger gloss black scoop fitted.
Tuesday 30-04-2019: Matte black belt line done, matte black LED Union Jack Scuttles installed, Carbon MINI matte carbon door handle and badge covers fitted.
Wednesday 01-05-2019: Matte black custom MINI Sixty graphics fitted, the old NMS diamond logo and Guy Martin Skull logo redone in matte black vinyl and a pair of OEM MINI All Weather mats were installed.
Tuesday 21-05-2019: Ultra Gauge EM Plus v1.2 installed.

I design, cut and install all of the graphics that are on it and they’re be a few new ones appear over the coming weeks.
Some of my designs will not be to everyone’s taste but I do like to add a bit of humour into some of them.

I still have various bits and bobs to buy and install but they will be added over the next few years as and when the funds allow.

Funny how changing the colour of the stripes can alter the look of a car so much ... I forgot that it had black stripes originally. Love that aerial shot. Coming along nicely though.

Yeah, I’d seen pics of one with Chilli Red stripes and caps and I thought it suited the White Silver way more than plain Black did.
Asking them to install the new stripes all the way down on the front and rear was also a wise move as well methinks.
That aerial shot was taken with the 360.
      (hint, hint)
      lol
